The Director of the General Organization of Civil Aviation, Basem Mansour, announced that the UAE civil aviation authorities had given permission to operate the national carrier companies, “Syrian Airlines and Cham Wings”, their flights to the Emirates, which were recently stopped due to the measures taken due to the Corona pandemic.
Mansour confirmed in a special statement to “Hashtag” that, based on the decision of the Emirates companies, the Syrian airlines will work to prepare work programs for their flights, which will facilitate the transportation of many travelers.
The Director of the General Organization of Civil Aviation said that Damascus International Airport is ready to receive flights, and is awaiting flight programs from all airports of the world.
Mansour revealed that the Corporation had received an operating request submitted by a private Russian airline, to operate flights from “Krasnodar to Aleppo”.
It is expected that the Corporation’s first flights will be to Sharjah Airport next Sunday, with the Corporation’s first flights to Dubai Airport on Monday, at a time when media sources are talking about operating three flights a week to Sharjah Airport, and four flights to Dubai Airport.
Cham Wings Company indicated that it will grant its passengers who booked their tickets during the previous period the advantage of transferring their tickets to travel directly from Damascus to Sharjah for free, and they can obtain this advantage by communicating with the company’s main offices or approved travel offices.
