Prime Minister Hussein Arnous issued a decision to form a media support committee headed by the Assistant Minister of Information for Media Development Affairs.
One of the tasks of this committee is to coordinate with the media to prepare public opinion before issuing decisions related to the living life of citizens.
This decision ignited a state of different reactions, which contained a lot of ridicule and astonishment. Ahmed wrote in response to the decision: “We understand from the story that there are upcoming decisions to raise prices!!”, while Ali commented: “To numb the citizen, you mean.”
Farah commented: “If the story needs to create a public opinion, it means that God will help us.” As for Osama, he wrote: “A failed government par excellence and against the silent people.”
Mia also wrote: “What are we preparing for? We are used to you knowing what is coming,” while Mahmoud commented sarcastically: “The government is studying how it seemed to take money from fellow citizens.”
It is noteworthy that, according to Article (1) of the aforementioned government decision, one of the tasks of this committee is also: to coordinate the overlapping information between the relevant ministries related to each decision to be issued, to formulate its justifications for its issuance and to determine the responsibility of each ministry when implementing it, and to unify the media and knowledge discourse directed to public opinion. .
Article No. (2) of the resolution stipulates that the committee meets periodically or when necessary at the invitation of its chairman.
