Abdul Hakim Qutaifan gives his opinion and thanks all the Syrians “People of Kindness”: The family collects a ransom for Fawaz

Qutaifan

The Syrian artist “Abdul Hakim Qutaifan ” announced that the Qutaifan family decided to collect the amount requested by the kidnappers in the hope of releasing the child “Fawaz Qutaifan ” who was kidnapped about 3 months ago, whose kidnappers published a video clip of him being tortured, to blackmail his relatives, and force them to pay a ransom of 500 million lira.
In a broadcast on his Facebook page, Qutaifan thanked “every Syrian from Deir ez-Zor to the coast, from Daraa to Aleppo and in the expatriates” who contacted for help.
He added: The Qutaifan family decided to collect the money and hand it over within hours, in the hope that the child would be released.
Qutaifan said that this ordeal “really proved that the Syrians are generous people, and people of kindness.”
He said that the family did not ask anyone at all, neither the association nor anyone else (referring to the “Saed” association) to collect an amount in our name, and added: “When we are unable, we will tell you.”
But so far we have not asked anyone, and within hours we will finish the matter and offer the ransom.
He concluded by saying: “We hope that we, as a family, will be able to collect the money. May God unite the Syrians in love and giving.”
It is noteworthy that the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Voluntary Charitable Society, Issam Habal, launched an initiative, the first of its kind in Syria, to collect a reward for those who help arrest the kidnappers. He confirmed in more than one post on his personal page that there is currently no amount of money except what he personally donated, and that all he does is to record the numbers of the donors, that all he does is to record the numbers of the donors, to hand over the money to those who help arrest the kidnappers, after their arrest, and hand over the child.
Habal announced yesterday evening that the amount offered by donors amounted to 86 million pounds, a day after the launch of the campaign.
“Sham FM” radio had quoted the police chief of Daraa governorate, Dirar al-Dandal, as saying that “positive results will be reached soon.” And al-Dandal added that, “since the date of sending the video of the beating of the child, there is no communication between the kidnappers and the child’s family,” and pointed out that “Follow-up continues from the Minister of Interior and the Criminal Security Department.”
