aThe Director of Education in Damascus Countryside accuses the principals of some schools of “stealing” the diesel allocations

The director of Education

The director of Education in Damascus countryside, Maher Faraj, accused some school principals of “stealing” the heating fuel allocations, weeks after they demanded rationalization of consumption due to the scarcity of quantities.
According to “Tishreen” newspaper, people in Damascus countryside criticized the neglect of providing their children’s schools with diesel due to the cold wave, explaining that most of the area’s schools are without heating due to the lack of diesel.
For his part, the Director of Education in Damascus Countryside, Maher Faraj, considered that the reason for the heating problem in schools is the lack of rationalization of diesel consumption and the failure of school principals to assume their responsibilities after completing the distribution of the allocations at the end of the first semester, which amounted to nine hundred and forty thousand liters, and to the large number of incidents of theft of allocations, which have become common.
It is reported that some parents and teachers brought diesel fuel from their homes to relieve the students’ cold.
