Carrying ten thousand tons of wheat and barley .. the ship “Laodicea” arrives at the port of Tartous in Syria

The Syrian Ministry of Transport announced the arrival of the Syrian ship “Laodicea” to the port of Tartous.
The Syrian Ministry confirmed that over the past few days, the issue of the ship that was carrying out a scheduled trip, including the delivery of food supplies (flour) to a commercial company in Lebanon, was followed up, after which it continued unloading its cargo in the Tartous port on a routine and usual basis.
The ministry indicated that the decision of the competent Lebanese judge was issued after examining the papers and documents related to the ship and all the necessary procedures in this regard, “without reaching any of the allegations of the Ukrainian ambassador.”
Which confirms, according to the ministry, “the invalidity of everything that was plotted and fabricated and based on politicization and loyalty to the American administration and its allies and its imposition of unjust and unjust coercive measures unilaterally, which reached to prevent and delay the arrival of foodstuffs.”
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Caretaker Minister of Transport, Ali Hamiyah, told “Reuters” that the Syrian ship carrying grain suspected of being stolen from Ukraine left the port of Tripoli in northern Lebanon, on Thursday morning, on its way to Syria.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that it was disappointed with the court’s decision to allow the Syrian-flagged ship Laodicea to leave, and stated that Kyiv’s position had not been taken into account.
Ukraine had called on Lebanon to reverse a decision issued by a court in Tripoli allowing the ship to leave.
The ship “Laodicea” docked in the port of Tripoli on July 27, loaded with about five thousand tons of barley and five thousand tons of flour. The Ukrainian embassy in Beirut claimed that the Russian authorities looted them from Ukrainian warehouses.
On Monday, a Lebanese judge issued an order to detain the ship for 72 hours, but the order was lifted on Wednesday evening to allow the ship to leave.
