The targeting operations of members of the Syrian army or members of the governorate committee in Daraa did not prevent the completion of the settlement process, so the role shifts to Deir ez-Zor governorate, which is preparing to launch a new comprehensive settlement within the framework of national reconciliation and returning the people of the region to their normal lives.
Special sources told “hashtag” that the completion of the settlement is done in the various regions of Daraa yesterday, after the security and military committee concluded its work in the centers that opened throughout the province, the latest of which was the Mahatta Police Department in Daraa to receive “others” who wish to join the settlement agreement.
According to the sources, completion means that; the situation of more than 14,000 wanted persons and persons, including 10,000 civilians and 4,000 soldiers, has been settled since the beginning of settlement operations in the governorate, in addition to the handover of thousands of light and medium weapons.
Under the settlement, deserters are given an assignment order for a period of 3 months from the date of the settlement contract, provided that they immediately join their military units after the deadline, while civilians are given a settlement card that proves that they are not wanted by the security authorities and enables them to roam the governorate.
At this time, Deir ez-Zor governorate is preparing to open settlement centers in its areas, in order to regularize the status of wanted people, in addition to those fleeing from compulsory or reserve military service and handing over their weapons.
Special sources in the province told “hashtag” that the upcoming settlement will be an opportunity for many to solve their problems and return to normal life, and at the same time, the tribal sheikhs in the region are coordinating with the concerned authorities to make the settlement a success and to ensure that those wishing for a settlement join the new agreement and return to their cities and villages. .
According to the information circulated, the settlement process in Deir ez-Zor will start as of next Sunday, starting from the gymnasium building in the city, before moving to the western countryside and then the cities of Albukamal and Al-Mayadin and their countryside to the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor without specifying a timetable for the process.
A specialized committee will be formed by the Ministries of Interior and Justice and the security authorities to issue a document to each person who joins the settlement to stop his prosecution and inform the concerned authorities in this regard.
It is noteworthy that Deir ez-Zor witnessed in mid-September a new settlement that included 600 people in the context of implementing presidential amnesty decrees.
