Dubai launches a shopping experience through “Yiwu”: the first smart free zone market in the Middle East

The Yiwu Market in Dubai opens its doors to the public as the first smart free zone market in the Middle East for the retail and bulk sectors.
Market and stages
It represents the first phase of the “Dubai Merchant Market” in the Jebel Ali Free Zone “Jafza”, with the aim of creating a boom in the buying and selling experience for merchants and consumers.
Establishing Dubai as a destination for shopping and events regionally and globally through its unique services and offers.
Showrooms and distribution
The Yiwu market includes 1,600 showrooms on an area of about 200,000 square meters, with 99% of the allocated space occupied.
The galleries are spread over two floors within specific sections.
The showrooms include places to sell electronics, electrical appliances, furniture, lighting, cosmetics and accessories.
In addition to tools and equipment, including auto parts, with kitchen and bathroom supplies, furnishings, curtains, and clothing.
Full logistical support
The market includes 324 warehouses spread over two floors, directly behind the showrooms.
This ensures the ease of supplying the halls with products, and avoiding the negative effects on the sales movement that may be caused by the shortage of stock.
The warehouses are also equipped with a loading dock dedicated to providing integrated logistical support to facilitate the movement of goods.
