A girl drowned in the Euphrates River in Deir Ezzor days before her wedding: 15 cases of drowning this summer

Members of the rescue squad in Deir Ezzor Fire Brigade continue their search for the body of a 16-year-old girl who drowned yesterday while swimming, and two other girls near the skybridge in the Euphrates River.
The commander of the fire brigade, “Ahmed Al-Safi”, in a statement to “Hashtag”, confirmed that the search operations did not result in anything despite its launch in the early morning hours, pointing out that the two girls who were with them were rescued in cooperation with the people present at the place.
During the past hours, the child, “Ahmed Abdullah Al-Juloud”, drowned 15 years old – from the village of Hatla, according to Al-Safi, whose body was taken out and handed over to his family after informing the competent authorities and the forensic medicine about the causes of death.

Despite the low level of the Euphrates River, however, as usual, the river must take its offerings from the young men, boys and girls of Deir ez-Zor who go to the river with their families for recreation from the blazing summer atmosphere of Deir ez-Zor.
Returning to the girl who drowned yesterday, the people said that the girl was on a date with her bride-to-be on the upcoming Eid al-Adha.
