Lavrentiev: We expect the tripartite summit to solve the Syrian problem through dialogue

The Russian President’s special envoy to Syria, Alexander Lavrentiev, announced that his country expects that the Astana tripartite summit in Iran will lead to a solution to the Syrian problem through dialogue.

Russian role
Lavrentiev indicated that his country is trying to do this through negotiations, and through dialogue between the concerned and relevant parties.

“We hope that the tripartite summit will contribute to the development of this issue and push it in the right direction of political dialogue.”
The Russian envoy to Syria said.
