Maestro Taher Mamli said in a statement to “Hashtag” that we do not have star makers in Syria, knowing that we have real stars who compete with great voices in the Arab world, but the only difference is that they have institutions and channels that support them.

Mamli pointed out that what concerns us in the first place is the support of state institutions before the private product to protect cultural heritage.

Regarding the concert that the Opera House will host today,Mamli explained that the concert will include presenting several introductions to Syrian works we knew, including:

Ahmar, Qanadil Aloshaq, Salah El-Din Al-Ayoubi, Kharif Al Oshaq, in a manner befitting the listener, and by competent and highly skilled singers such as: Abboud Barmada, Linda Bitar, Sarah Farah and others.

It is noteworthy that Maestro Taher Mamli’s concert will be held on the stage of the Opera House, today, Saturday, in Damascus, on 5/6/2021 at 8:00 pm.

The concert will be presented in cooperation with the Orpheus Orchestra, which was established in 2004, includes more than “30” professional musicians, and has performed many concerts in Syria and the region, and has its own artwork locally and internationally. It was founded and directed by Maestro Andre Maalouli.
