A member of the Damascus Chamber of Industry, Talal Qalaji, said that maintaining commodity prices has become impossible, blaming the current price chaos crisis on the effects of the Ukrainian war.
In an interview with Al-Madina Radio, Qalaji stressed the difficulty of stabilizing prices and keeping them from rising, justifying this by the rise in international prices of materials to large levels affected by the conflict in Ukraine.
Qalaji indicated that he was not aware of the current prices as a result of the instability of the markets, as he put it, blaming the people for the high prices of some materials due to the high demand for them.
