Sahar Fawzy: Syrian actresses are forced to make physical and financial concessions

Syrian actress Sahar Fawzy revealed during an interview on the Lebanese “Al-Jadeed” channel that most Syrian artists are forced to make many concessions in order to continue working, including financially and physically.
She pointed out, “Many actresses were subjected to harassment and immoral behavior.”
She confirmed that she was subjected to harassment attempts by one of the producers, who took advantage of her financial distress and forced her to make concessions in exchange for a small amount that the extras would not accept.
She pointed out that “she is like most Syrian citizens now, suffering from difficult economic conditions, which forced her to sell part of her jewelry.”
Indicating: that the hearts of Syrians are no longer the same as before, as life has changed and all masks have fallen.
Sahar Fawzy also talked about the many disappointments she experienced from near and outside, revealing for the first time about her personal life.
The Syrian actress indicated that she did not marry her ex-husband out of a love affair like other women, but rather out of a relationship of common interest.

Sahar Fawzy also revealed for the first time that she was subjected to physical and verbal abuse by her ex-husband, from whom she separated.
The Syrian actress described her ex-husband as “irritable and reckless”, which prompted her family to support her and encourage her to divorce.

Regarding the tumor in her vocal cords, she said that she was afraid of doctors that her mother, sister and nephew had died of this disease.
