The Central Bank of Syria issued a new amendment to the list of 36 articles attached to Resolution 1070 of 2021 by adding mobile phones and their accessories and six other materials to the materials financed by banks and exchange companies.
According to media outlets, the seven items that have been added to the list of 36 financed items from the Central Bank of Syria, banks and money exchange companies are: plastic granules and all their items, auto spare parts and all their items, threads, clothing industry supplies and all their items, mobiles and their accessories and all their items.
Angles, wires and other iron products and all their items, iron sheets and iron coils and all their items, and iron billets and all their items were also added.
The Central Bank noted that goods do not exit from customs except upon a notice from the Central Bank in accordance with the mechanism duly.
It is noteworthy that these new materials are added to the previously funded materials such as imported materials for the benefit of the “Syrian Trade Corporation”, infant formula, human medicines and their raw materials, agricultural seeds, yerba mate, canned goods, hatching eggs and chicks for broiler grandmothers, hatching eggs and chicks for broiler mothers and eggs, oils and raw vegetable fats.
