Director of Civil Aviation Basem Mansour said that the current period is witnessing the return of flights on some foreign airlines, which is a very important positive indicator, which will have a clear impact on the commercial and economic movement.
Mansour explained in a special statement to “Hashtag” that it was the Pakistani airport administration that requested the return of flights at a rate of 7 to 8 flights during the month.
The Director of Civil Aviation confirmed that Pakistan is studying during this period the possibility of resuming flights on a permanent basis, noting that he welcomes the return of any flights on airlines because it has an important role in the return of the spirit of strength to the work of aviation.
The Ministry of Transport announced today that Damascus International Airport will receive, on Friday, the first flights of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), in the framework of operating flights from Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad airports in Pakistan towards Damascus and vice versa.
