The Pentagon admits targeting US forces in Hasaka with explosive devices

Pentagon

The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) announced that a facility hosting its forces in eastern Syria was attacked this month with explosives, not missiles.
On Monday, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said that it is now clear that the casualties were the result of improvised explosive devices that were deliberately placed near US forces, without specifying who was behind the attack.
Earlier this month, the US-led coalition said 4 US soldiers were lightly wounded by “indirect fire” at a base in Syria known as “Green Village”.
The illegal US bases in Syria are subjected to attacks from time to time.
The American occupation forces deployed in Syria during the campaign against ISIS, in partnership with the SDF.
