The “return home” trip brings refugees back from Minsk to Damascus “voluntarily or forcibly”!

Minsk International Airport in Belarus announced a flight to Damascus today, Wednesday, on board Cham Wings Airlines.
According to the airport statement, the “return home” flight, as it was called, is organized by Cham Wings on board an Airbus A320, which is scheduled to depart at 3:30 p.m. Belarusian time.
The statement did not specify whether the trip will take place voluntarily for the returnees or whether it is part of the deportation, and the Cham Wings company has not commented on the news.
The Belarusian government is facing accusations from European countries of exploiting the refugee crisis stranded at its border with Poland, including Syrians trying to reach Europe.
It is noteworthy that the “Cham Wings” company had previously announced the suspension of its flights to Belarus, after the exacerbation of the refugee crisis on the border with Poland.
The Lebanese newspaper, Al-Akhbar, quoted sources in the Syrian government late last month, the readiness of the Syrian embassy in Minsk to assist any citizen who resorts to it within diplomatic and legal frameworks.
Two days ago, the Belarusian-Polish border witnessed demonstrations by migrants stranded there, refusing to deport them to their countries, waiting for a humanitarian passage to the European Union, according to the Russian “Sputnik” agency.
The crisis of migrants stranded on the border between Belarus and Poland has been going on for months, with attempts to cross the border and confrontations with border forces.
In a report published last month, Human Rights Watch documented violations by the Belarusian authorities towards refugees, and quoted one of them that the Belarusian authorities give them the choice between “death or crossing the border into Poland,” according to the report.
