The Syrian Football Association sets the maximum salary for Syrian players: 4 million pounds per month

The Syrian Football Association announced its approval of the proposals and recommendations of the Players’ Affairs Committee, related to financial receivables.
The federation set an amount of four million Syrian pounds as the maximum monthly wage for any Syrian player.
Pay and taxes
According to a statement by the federation, on Sunday, the amount of four million Syrian pounds will be approved as the highest maximum for the player’s monthly wage, including taxes.
The statement clarified that any contract otherwise, will not be ratified, except for the contract of the foreign player, to whom executive instructions will be issued in this regard.

“Clearance”
The federation agreed not to document or register any contract for each of (players, administrators, technicians) for any club before paying all the financial debts incurred by them for the previous seasons in favor of (players, administrators, technicians) or for the benefit of the federation for which previous decisions were issued.
The federation also requested that all players be obligated to obtain a “clearance” from the club with which he participated for the season (2021/2022) before making any contract with any other club.
In the event that the player is not granted a “clearance”, the club must send the legal justifications to the federation within a week of the player’s request being duly registered with the club’s office.
Otherwise, the player will be considered free of debts without referring to the club, according to the statement.
The Union and its financial obligations
According to the statement, the club is left with the right to organize the rest of the financial obligations with the player, such as (incentives, bonuses, accommodation, transfer, and any other compensation that the club deems appropriate).
The Federation is not responsible for these additional obligations.

Allow to contract
On June 16, the Football Association decided to allow Premier League clubs to sign two professional players, whether Arab or foreign, with the exception of the goalkeeping position.
