With a new record… UAE has the most powerful travel document in the world

The UAE passport has become the most powerful travel document in the world, according to the “Passport” index published by the Arton Foundation, which includes the top ten places dominated by European countries.

UAE passport holders can enter 180 countries without a visa, which is about 7 more than European passports such as Germany and Sweden, according to Al Arabiya Net.

There are also nine more countries than Japan, whose travel document was rated the best in the world earlier this year, and which ranked 24th on the Arton index, with easy access to 171 countries.

The passport classification adds to the UAE’s growing record list, which includes the world’s tallest building, deepest pool and tallest hotel.

Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, the UAE has stayed away from the large-scale lockdowns seen around the world, adopting strict mandates for masks and vaccinations.

The way smart government handles the pandemic has attracted visitors from all over the world, who are looking to escape restrictions in their home countries.

Arton declared that the passports of almost every nation around the world have become stronger this year, with countries keen to maximize the economic benefits they provide by enabling greater freedom of movement.

The Afghan passport remained the least accessible to a number of States without a visa.
