With American support, “SDF” launches a revenge campaign against one of the tribes of Deir ez-Zor

Today, Saturday, the US army and militiamen loyal to it affiliated with the “SDF” launched a revenge campaign against the Al-Shaitat clan in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, which included the destruction of the homes of the clan’s members and the burning of some of them.

Siege of the town:

Sources reported that the campaign coincided with the imposition of the siege on the town, and the launch of a wide-ranging campaign in its neighborhoods against the background of the clashes that took place with the members of the Arab clan, according to the agency, “Sputnik”.
The sources confirmed that “SDF” gunmen loyal to the US army have been besieging the town for two days, claiming to search for wanted persons, after bringing in military reinforcements from other areas.

Destruction and burning of houses:

The sources indicated the destruction of civilian homes and the burning of a number of others without knowing the reasons or bringing charges, noting that the damage was limited to material without the presence of victims.

Clashes between SDF and clans

Earlier, a group of al-Shaitat clan members clashed with a SDF patrol, which led to the killing of 4 SDF militants, wounding others, and destroying 4 military vehicles affiliated with the organization, including an American “Bazira” car.
In the context, clashes erupted in the town of Muhaimida in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor between the al-Bakara tribe and SDF militants, during the latter’s attempt to arrest some of the town’s youth, which led to the injury of two SDF members, one of whom was seriously injured.

Deir ez-Zor countryside is witnessing a state of security chaos and continuous confrontations between the members of the Arab tribes who reject the presence of the American forces, and the elements loyal to them in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
