The Syrian actor, Basem Yakhour, surprised the audience after appearing with a different look on the poster of his new series “Al Arabji”.
Yakhour appeared in the poster image, holding a sword in his hand and a shirt with a split chest in the character he embodies in a huge dramatic work signed by writer Othman Jeha and director Naji Tohme.
Arbaji Trend
The series “Al-Arbaji” was the trend of social networks as soon as it was announced on the accounts of the “Golden Line” company, the producer, and the hero of the work, Basem Yakhour, in a poster that showed the latter in a violent look.
Viewers’ opinions varied about the category to which “Al-Arbaji” belonged, whether it was the Damascene environment, historical drama, or folklore.
Rana Hariri is joking
In a related context, writer Rana Hariri joked with her husband as soon as the promotional poster was published, commenting: “My love, it was as if your shirt was ripped, bring it with you to sew it.”
He replied with a laugh, “You talk as if you knew how to sew it.”
Yakhour achieved with “Golden Line” more than wide success in dramas, especially in the first part of the “Khatoun” series in 2016, when he embodied the character “Akash”, and in the series “On a Hot Tin” in the 2021 season through the role of “Hilal Al-Hajjar”.
