American planes dropped leaflets in the city of Al-Hasakah urging cooperation with it after the events taking place in Al-Hasakah Governorate following the storming of “Al-Sina’a” prison by ISIS, and the escape of dozens of ISIS prisoners.
The leaflets included phone numbers and promises of a financial reward for those who report any “terrorist activity” in Al-Hasakah.
And the “ISIS” organization stormed with car bombs driven by two suicide bombers, “Al-Sina’a” prison in the Ghweran neighborhood, while hundreds of prisoners from the organization took control of the prison.
The attack was followed by the exit of dozens of prisoners from their dormitories, as they took complete control of the prison from the inside, and spread out in several neighborhoods with a group of ISIS elements waiting for them outside.
As a result, on Saturday, US forces brought Bradley military vehicles to the scene of clashes in the vicinity of Al-Sina’a prison, after their participation during the past two days was limited to air strikes.
ISIS had announced in video recordings its presence in abundance on the outskirts of Ghweran neighborhood and in the “Sina’a” prison.
And ISIS broadcast, through the “Amaq” agency, which is close to it, video recordings showing the operation it launched on the prison.
Among the recordings was a statement by one of the organization’s fighters, recounting the details of the attack, and behind him were about 20 “SDF” fighters who were captured by the organization’s members.
Until now, the news and photos broadcast by the “SDF” media confirm that clashes are still going on in the Ghweran neighborhood and the vicinity of Al-Sina’a prison between ISIS and “SDF” cells, despite the latter’s assertion of its control over the situation.
