The Israeli occupation forces arrested in Jerusalem the owner of a juice store, who was famous for serving a cocktail called the “Jerusalem Intifada” during the recent events.
Hebrew media reported that the store owner was arrested on suspicion of “running a business without a license and tax evasion.”
The media said that among the reasons for the arrest of the Palestinian man was that he was distributing a free cocktail called the “Jerusalem Intifada” during the confrontations that took place in Jerusalem weeks ago, which the occupation authorities considered “a kind of inflaming the situation.”
The Hebrew media only reported that he is 27 years old and lives in Jabal Al-Mabker in East Jerusalem, but Palestinian media said that the person in question is Tariq Othman.
Othman owns a juice store in Jabal Al-Mabker He has a Facebook page with tens of thousands of followers, and is active on other social networks.
In one of the videos, he was preparing large quantities of a special cocktail under the name “The Jerusalem Intifada” to be distributed to Palestinian youths in the Bab al-Amoud area in Jerusalem, which was the scene of confrontations.
