The head of the Association of Employees in Public Administrations in Nabatieh, Muslim Obeid, said: “Who is in the interest of destroying the public sector, collapsing public administrations, and not securing the rights of employees? Isn’t the employee entitled to receive a salary that gives him a decent life at the minimum, to educate his children like other sectors, and to receive an education grant that keeps pace with New installments?
“Is it reasonable for the employee to receive a grant to educate his children at a value of only two million Lebanese pounds? In turn, a member of the Public Administration Association, Hassan Wehbe, hinted at “a return to the open strike if salaries are not corrected.”

“I do not care who receives 8 million to become 18 million, but I care about who receives one and a half million, what does four and a half million benefit him, do not support him for a week,” he said.
